United States Park Police reported a total of four permitted First Amendment events attracting an unknown number of participants.. At approximately 11:30 AM a Iarge number of persons gathered in the Ellipse area and listened to a speech by POtUS. At the conclusion of the speech, a huge number of persons moved on foot down Constitution and Pennsylvania Avenues to the area of the United States Capitol. remain in the Capitol. Members of Congress and Staff have been removed to positions of safety.. At the present time, a coordinated police response consisting of members of the United States Capitol Police, United. States Park Police, Metropolitan DC Police, Metro North Police, HSI, Federal Protective Service, US Marshals Service, FBI, and Virginia State Troopers are beginning to clear the Capitol..
