KINLOCH was living or documentary evidence or his death.. The New York Orfice of the Federal Bureau of. Investigation advised on April 8, 1955 that JAmes M. KINLOCH was employed at that time as a postal clerk at the College Station, al7 West 14oth Street, New York City, and that he was residing at 246 West 138tn Street, New York City. This information was immediately furnisned to Assistant United States Attorney ANDRew J. Davis who stated that he niil take ateps to have the United states Attorney in New York obtain a deposition from KinLoch. Mr. DAvis stated that he would request no further investigation at the present time. A reviex of the file in this case in the Orfice of. the United States Attorney reflected that the Veterans Administration submitted a Statement of Facts and Law relative to the matter of JOHN SPEARS KINLOCH, XC 3928-188, who was born May 30, iyal. He entered on duty in the United States Army 1n 1943 and was assigned serial number 39-705-276. On December 3, lg43, he was issued a National Service Life policy Nuaber N 14-831-920 in the amount of $10,000,00 with h1s mother. VICTORINE SPEARS KINLOCH, as principal beneficiary and JAMEs S. KinLoch, father, as contingent beneficiary, both residing at 62 West la4th Street, New York City. When the veteran was 1ssued the policy he gave as nis address 4o7s South Central Avenue, Los Angeles, California.. JAMEs S. KiNLocH, father of the veteran, died February 4, lg44 at the age or seventynine. After the death.of the insured, the principal beneficiary elected to receive the
