C., adviscd of the receipt or o letter on March 5, 1964, postmarked March 4, "i964, addressed to #Personal to FBI, Hashington, D. C., and signed "FRANKIE CARBO)LANZA." This lettor contained statenonts which possibly vlolated Sec- tlon 876, Title 13, U. S. Code, in that it made otatements throatening bodily harm to CAssius CLy. By communieation dated Morch 6, l964, nBI, Wash- ington, D. C., advised of the receipt of a ietter addressed "personal to FBi, Washington, D. C.," which reads as follows: "F.B.I. I auo undo uu uT soptu Avno Snssvn uoom Acpawos, will assassinate him with my telescope rifle. He Is a menber of the Black Iuslims and he hates whito people. "sONy (CARBo) LIsrON love money thats why he will win the title back from CAssius CLAy. P.S. "JOEy GIARDELLO won the t1tle the hard honest way from DICK TIGER not like CASSIUS CLAY. "/s/FRANKIECARBO)LANZA By letter dated March 17, l964, the Bureau advised that from examination of the above lotter (letter #/1) two latent fingerprints of value were developed on the subritted envelope, one latent of volue developed on the letter. By communication datcd March 18, l964, the Bureau advised or the receipt of a lettor from WALTER WINCHELL. enclosing a letter postmarked Philadelphia, Pa., March 4, 1964, addressed "personal to - WALIER WINCHELL, c/o New. York Journal American, 220 South Street, New York 15, N. Y." Muhammad Ali-870
