SUBJECT: Report of Sighting of Unidentified Phenomenon

1. In accordance with the provisions of letter, Headquarters,
United States Air Force, subjects. “Reporting of Information on 'Flying
Dises’*®, 26 February 1948, the following information is forwarded:
ae Inclosures 1, 2 and 3 are reports received by the Japanese
Central Meteorclogical Observatory in Tokyo. The observations indicated
in these reports were taken by Japanese Weather personnel at the respective
stations.
b. Inclosure 4 indicatee the location of the stations which
observed the object and it's probable path and point of explosion or
disappearance.
c. Inclosures 5 and 6 are surface synoptic charts showing the
weather existing over Japan at 06002 and 1200Z on 25 January, which times
are approximately four and one half (4%) hours before and one and one half
(14) houre efter the unidentified object was sighted,
