Beerli to come over on Monday and set forth the facts relating to pre-D-Day air strikes? Answer: Yes. Question: What was the turn-around time for your aircraft? Answer: The longest time was three hours. A normal combat loading took approximately an hour. . Question: How long could you remain over the target? Answer: Thirty minutes to an hour. Question: What was your capability for providing air cover to the beach? Answer: We could keep someone over there all the time. On D-Day we had a capability for launching 20 sorties.
