The complaint charges LAMO ith gom intrusion and unauthorized access into the NEW YORK TIMES and LEXIS/NEXUS. The complaint further specifies LAMO's other hacks such as WORLDCOM, SBC, YAHOO, MICROSOFT, YAHOO, EXCITE@HOME, and CINGULAR all of which LAMO has admitted to on videotaped interviews. Members of the NYO's squad DT-5 attended the recent DEF CON in Las Vegas, NV from August 1-3, 2003 with the purpose of locating and apprehending LAMO. LAMO was registered for the event and had reserved a hotel for his attendance at the event but failed to appear. Today ourt order to place a b3 -4 pen register on bYE -7 bI7E -1 The NYO is querying all technical/hacking community sources to attempt to locate LAMO. To date, the NYO has not located LAMO and therefore he has not been apprehended. Once LAMO is apprehended, writer will contact all above mentioned offices and Agents so that interviews can be conducted.
