The complaint charges LAMO with Computer Fraud and Trafficking in Accesses Devices. Specifically, LAMO is charged with hacking into the New York Times and Lexis/Nexus with substantive counts mentioning WORLDCOM, SBC and MICROSOFT. Upon indictment, LAMO will be potentially be charged with unauthorized access into YAHOO, WORLDCOM, AOL, SBC, NEW YORK TIMES, LEXUS/NEXIS, MICROSOFT and CINGULAR. LAMO lives a vagrant lifestyle. He has labeled himself "the homeless hacker". He does not have a permanent residence nor does he have steady employment.
