---- Working Copy ---- Upon his arrest, the NYO has identified five (5) groups of individual who need to be interviewed regarding LAMO. In total approximately 225 individuals will be interviewed. The groups are as follows: 1. Individuals he contacts via telephone 2. Individuals he has close relationships with (Will be providing Grand Jury subpoenas) 3. Individuals that were run in Lexis/Nexus 4. Individuals whose 1P addresses were used to run unauthorized Lexis/Nexus searches (Will be providing Grand Jury subpoenas) 5. Individuals he is friends with but are reporters. (We are currently obtaining Department of Justice approval to conduct these interviews) This communication is to address the individuals with whom LAMO and/or others performed unauthorized Lexis/Nexus checks obtaining personnel information over a year ago and/or individuals LAMO contacted telephonically. Please note, when interviewing these individuals investigation may reveal a friend, acquaintance, family member or themselves, not LAMO who performed the Lexis/Nexus checks. If this is determined, conduct logical interview about that particular individual. Also, interviewees may and/or may not be aware that their personnel information was obtained by unauthorized individuals through Lexis/Nexus, please handle discretely. Writer has enclosed a list of individuals who may have been provided with the Lexis/Nexus userids by LAMO (included in the list of "other names" in suggested questions worksheet) . The NYO has conducted[ eriminal history checks, DMV checks, ACS checks and Internet checks on all the bIE -2 individuals writer is requesting to be interviewed. Writer has put details pertaining to each interviewee in the leads section of this communication. Writer requests to be contacted by Agents who are assigned to conduct interviews either by telephone or email. The purpose of this request is to allow writer to contact the appropriate Agent to inform them of LAMO’s arrest, so that interviews can be conducted. Interviews pertaining to individuals he has close relationships with, individuals whose IP addresses were used to run unauthorized Lexis/Nexus searches and individuals he is friends with but are reporters will be sent under a separate lead. The NYO office is currently obtaining Federal Grand Jury subpoenas and Department of Justice approvals for these individuals.
