We, Washington, D. C., referred this Bureau to an article ' appearing in the "Detroit Times,” issue of March 9, 1960 } @ copy of which is enclosed, and requested to be advised we whether there had been any change in our policy with respect to unidentified flying objects; whether this Bureau gathered evidence of unidentified flying objects for the Department of the Air FPoree; and whether the photograph described in the article had been analyzed at FBI laboratories or for FBI purposes. This Bureau's letter to the afore-mentioned organization of Septembér 26, 1958, had pointed out that we do not investigate incidents involving unidentified flying objects but furnished data received concerning them ~ ee Depirtment of the Air Force. ?
