SUBJECT: ATKID
At the reauest of Unit Chief ay
Personal Crimes Unit, Criminal Investigative Division,
writer contacted Atlanta FBI Office concerning a news report
broadcast in the Washington, D. C. area involving the
suicide of a white male in Atlanta, Georgia. Speculation ( H
was that this suicide victim was connecte i he Atkid f
investigation. Contact was made with SA nine Atlanta)
Office, on 2/22/81, and advised the woman who had v
furnished a composite pho aph of a white male in connection
with Atkid. viewed the body of the suicide victim and stated
that he was not identical with the subject of the composite
photograph.
At approximately 12:20 p.m, 2/22/81, writer received
a telephone call from
Metropolitan Police Department,
advi t he had just interviewed
Washington, D. C., telephone

was either a light-skinned Negro male or a white male.
