PATE RT RSE ER, A TOTO END SS 1 Bs Cg AT 7A-1835 SF 43 investigation, searches have been conducted of selected areas throughout Atlanta for the remains of three of the children who have yet to be found. On one such search, the above-listed items were located. Atlanta does not know if these items are connected with instant case. Notwithstanding, this office is requesting the following investigation be conducted. REQUEST OF THE FBI LABORATORY LATENT FINGERPRINT SECTION: Conduct latent fingerprint examinations of mattock, shovel and plastic bag for latent fingerprints of value. If any are obtained, it is requested that they be checked against latent fingerprints developed on Penthouse and Galler magazines previously submitted in this matter. Also, if any fingerprints are developed in above-submitted items, it is requested that they be compared with the fingerprints of suspects previously submitted. It is further requested of the FBI Laboratory to determine, through chemical analysis, what the yellow substance is in the brown, plastic bag. 2* aie
