Q29 Yellow fiber (81-4620)
Q30 Violet fiber (81-4620)
Q3l Green fiber (81-2487)
Q32 Yellow carpet fiber (80-15919)
Result of examinations
Specimen Q29 consists of a light yellow, striated,
lustrous acetate fiker. Specimen Q30 consists of a light
violet, striated, lustrous acetate fiber. Specimen Q31
consists of a green nylon fiber of variable cross section.
This fiber does not exhibit the appearance of a trilobal
rug fibers however, the possibility that it’ originates
from a rug or carpet cannot be eliminated.
Epecimen Q32 consists of a light yellow trilobal
nylon fiber of the type frequently encountered in rugs or
carpets.
The aforementioned fibers are suitable for future
microscopic comparisons with suspect sources.
