A background investigation is being con- ducted on homicide victim number 27, William Barrett, whose body was discovered on 5/12/81. Victim's death resulted from ligature strangu- lation. A surveillance of fourteen bridges in the metropolitan area of Atlanta, Georgia, is currently being conducted in an attempt to- apprehend the unsub while disposing of the bod of one of his victims. The surveillances are being conducted every night from dusk until dawn.
