CT r FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION 2 6/15/81 Cate of transcription. {age 14) was interviewed a 6 re ence. was advised of the official identity of the interviewing Agent by show of credentials and advised that he was being interviewed re- garding the murdered and wpissing children of Atlanta, Georgia. was shown seven photographs of Negro males. These phot 6 were placed in front of him, one at a time, with no identifying data exposed to him. He was asked to indicate if he knew any of the individuals whose photo- graphs were shown to him. He immediately identified the photograph of Wayne Bertram Williams as Wayne Williams. He was asked to sign the back of this photograph and did go and the photograph was also dated and initialed by the interviewing Agent. L rsrmsand was then advised that he had come to the attention he Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) following a search warrant which had been served on Willians' | which many pieces hed been seized wars by the government. was advised that his name appeared on one sheet of paper w appeared to be an appointment book of Williams. ee then shown a photocopy of that sheet of paper as the notation “Interviews, Saturday, November 29, 1980," a mid of the page was °2:30 - Southw. 3 tandmother cms was ow he cane to be acquainted with Williams stated that he had heard an advertisement on a local radio station that asked in effect 4f a young person interested in singing and had talent to call Williars at a number given over the air. He stated that he had called Williams on a Sunday and Williams had set up an appointment to meet with hix.
