The following is a chronological log of events taken place during that surveillance: 8:00 am - surveillance initiated in front of 1871 Penelope Road 10:07 am - Wayne B. Williams' father exits residence, walked through numerous reporters, photographers and cameramen to area of Agents and police officers. Mr. Williams motion o Agents and officers to come with “| him. Officers in and Agent enter the Penelope St. addreSs where Mr. Williams advised that his attorney, Mary Welcome, was on telephone and wanted to AIC speak to member of surveillance team. Agent spoke to Welcome who advised that she would hold news nference that afternoon and wanted officers and Agents to comment on record regarding Wayne B. Williams and "stakeout". Bhe also expressed concern for Mr. and Mrs. Williams‘ health because of numerous news media w enforcement officers at the Williams home. Agent advised her to contact FBI Office, Atlanta or Atlanta Police Department Task Force 10:12 am - officers and Agent depart residence through numerous ne ~ media 1:00 pm —- Wayne's father exits residence with 35 mm camera taking pictures of news media and vehicles in area.
