On the first day of the trial, 1/6/82, the rosecution intends to call witnesses whose bservations led to the location of the bodies f Nathaniel Cater and Jimmy Payne in the hattahoochee River. The fingerprint examiner ho identified the bodies and the medical xaminer that performed the autopsies on the two victims will then testify. The first witness to be called on the second lay will be Atlanta Public Safety Commissioner ee Brown who will testify to the formation, urpose, and structure of the Task Force created ito investigate this case. Testimony from FBI pecial Agents and local law enforcement officer ill also be introduced regarding their obser- ations on 5/22/81 at the James Jackson Parkway ridge and the subsequent identification and interview of subject. Testimony on the third day will concern the interview of Wayne Bertram Williams at his esidence by Bureau Agents.
