While we certainly do not in any way purport to dictate to the FBI what its policy should be, our policy id offered only for your consideration. The “geg" order that was imposed by the trial dudge ended when the defendant was sentenced. However, since we do not want to say anything publiciy that might adversely affect the appeal or unnecessarily incite the community, we have made ‘it a policy not to speak publicly about any evidence connecting Williams to any other victims except those named in the indictment and those used during the trial as Similar transactions. We will also refuse comment on any other potential suspects which may have been developed during the course of the investigation. In summary, our public comments have been restricted to the evidence introduced at the trial itself.
