E. Co a in Charge of the New York Field Division, concerning and his relationship with the heads of the BASQUE ORGANIZATION in the United States. Referenced communication stated that had expressed his interest in assisting the Bureau and it was requested that I submit to the Bureau my opinion a o whether I would deem it expedient to follow the suggestion of ANTONI RALA, Secretary of the Basque Delegation in New York City, to teéke the necessary steps — is in the United States to place him in contact with the Bureau. In is my opinion that could be of considerable assistance to this office ana to the Bureau in investigations of political and releted matters in Kl Salveder and thet it would be edvisable : offer of the Besque representatives in New York to | in contact with the Bureau and to assist in facilituting his aiding and ta for a short while gmbassy just prior to his first trip to the United States some ciintiinnas =<. but only had an opportunity to say a few words to him.
