As a result of statements made by Carter with respect to information imparted to him by Georgia State Senators Henry Russell and Floyd Hudgins concerning Lockheed C-130's and other Libyan aircraft purchases, as well as actions subsequently initiated by him, we would appreciate the following additional investigation: i Senators Russell and Hudgins should be reinterviewed for details of any discussions they may have had with J Libyan officials and with Carter on the subject of »,aircraft: purchases and delivery problems... = Particulzr’ ~ attention should be focused on any requests made by the Libyans in connection with those problems.
