News, speaking to a fairly packed house tonight, i Hbs LEG zn] BI FESPERMAN, mewbers Of the Black Panther organization and the Young Patriots from Chicago, Illinois are new lexving the hell. They showed three movies tonight about. the black Parthers ard their work with the Young Patriots orgenizatien, and they <ach talked for about 20 minutes ¢ and spent 30 minutes fer qvesticns and answers with those in the audience. The Yeary Palxjots crgenization, which was represented by BILL FESPERMAN, wis was their field secretary, is a political organization of working youth in the uptown area in Chicago. They are in coaliticn with the Mack Panther Party of which BOBBY LEE is the field secretar, in the Illinois Chapter. And they're also allied with the Young Lovds organization, the Latin Eagles, and the Lincoln Park Patricts. They were farced to cut short tonight as the Carclina Union closed at 11:00 p.in. and sone thought that they might. yo over to a classroom building on the campus. it was a Jeng evening and much was discussed, and many went away f£o¢ling differently about today's society. But the ‘main question in everybody's mind is what. is going to happen to racism? Who are the Black Panthers? What are they trying to do? What are their real goals?
