RE: BLACK PANTHER PARTY (BPP) - “4 ; ; FORTIFICATIONS on CE T-1 advised that as of that daie, 210 East Fourteenth Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, was occupied by a member of the BPP Chapter at Winston-Salem, This source stated that as of that date this residence contained no fortifications or protective devices. This source reported seeing no firearms or weapons of any sort at that location, 1972, CE T-1 advised that QD Headquarters located at 1333 North Patterson venue, determined there were no fortifications or protective devices at this address. This source reported on these dates that_no weapons in BPP Headquarters and no material hat could be capable of being utilized to manufacture ices or incendiary devices. CE T-1l reported on that a member of the BPP Chapter acts as the Officer e Day and stays in BPP Headquarters at all times; however, this duty officer is unarmed. CE T-1 also advised there was no indication of any escape tunnels being present in any of the above three locations.
