This source veported the North Carolina Chepter of the
BPP held funeral services for ‘7.DDELL in ‘inston-Saleu,
North Carolina, on June 21, 1972, LARRY LITTLE was in
charge of funeral services md ataped eulogy for WADDELL was
delivered by BOBBY SEALE, Chairman of the BPP. Following
the funeral LARRY LITTLE announced that the BPP was
sponsoring a demonstration ai Central Prison on Sunday,
June 25, 1972, to focus attention on the death of WADDELL
end conditions in the North Carolina prison. LITTLE stated
the demonstration would be peaceful. LITTLE also stated
GOLDEW FRINNS, Field Secretary of the Southern Chrisiian
Leadership Conference and BENJAUIN CHAVIS, Assistant Director
of the Noth Carolina - Virginia Committee for Racial
Justice would participate in the demonstration. according
to CE T-1, however, both declined LITTLE's invitation. This
source stated LITTLU hed apparently abandoned his previous
plans to sponsor a protest demonstration at North Carolina
Central Prison,
