This source reported BPP members claimed WADDELL was in excellent health and that the prison's claim that WADDELL died of a heart attack was very questionable. LARRY LITTLE contacted American Civil Liberties Union attorneys JOSEPH H. TIEGER of Fayetteville, N. C. and JERRY PAUL of Durham, N. C., to inquire into this incident with prison authorities. Both TIEGER_and PAUL have represented BPP members in the past. also advised that LARRY LITTLE is talking about heading a delegation of several BPP members and proceeding to Raleigh, N. C. to demand a hearing :with the warden of Central Prison regarding the circumstances of WADDELL's death. No plans have been finalized in this regard. Appropriate authorities at Central Prison, Raleigh, N. C., have been alerted regarding possible contact from BPP members.
