NEWTON. ‘ PART II The following is a summary of BPP activities in the Charlotte Division: During August, 1972, BRADFORD LILLY, one of the “High Point 3" and BPP member, was released from North Carolina State Prison on appeal bond. LILLY and two other BPP members were convicted of assault charges and his bond was arranged by his brother, GARY LILLY, who was operating independently of the BPP Chapter in order to secure his brother's release. Under the direction of BPP Leader LARRY LITTLE, the Winston-Salem, N. C., BPP Chapter continued its efforts to promde good will throughout the Black Community with another Community Survival Program held August 27, 1972.
