After New York City, we went to Richmond, Virginia, and we spoke at Virginia Junior College, the Free University, Richmond, Virginia, and also we worked in the communities there. We split up in Richnond, Virginia, where the Patriots went to a place called Aryil Hitls (phonetit), I think it is, sort of white working class cemmunity. Ati we went to a place called West End. There's a black community there, and we worked, after we left we set. up a program tor free breakfast for children progran in Richmond, Vixginia. Another: aim we've been trying to work on going to universities is that we found that there's a big breakdown between so-called black students who go to schocl at the university, and the brothers out here in thu streets. We find that the black students in the colleges don't relate to the brothers On the streets any more, to the cats on th cerners. And 1 think we did very good at Richmond, Virginia, and it. was a failure here. And so last night, didn't too many black students tion cut. I guess they were too busy standing up holding hands on the sidewalks or something like that. What it boils down to is what we said last night, that the mentality is thal there are some peuple who know they came over here on slave ships, and there are some niggers who think they came here on the Mayflower.
