On 5/28/69 Attorney at Law GEORGE §-rDRLY tele-
phonically contacted the Charlotte Office aft approximately
1:00 p.m. and advised SA that he represented
MICHAEL GRANT YLANEY and J. » who were recently
arrested in raid at their~residence, 316 S. Turner St.,
Charlotte, N.C. He related that he interviewed both his
clients as well as three other witnesses and stated he is
lodging a complaint about the illegal search of the residence
by the FBI and the fact that this residence is under constant
surveillance. /

SAI pointed out to DALY that these Grrests
were not made by FBI Agents but were made by the Internal
Revenue Service, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agents, along
with local police. Mr.. DALY did not acknowledge accepting
this as an answer and said that he had been told by his clients |
that FBI Agent L. DEAN PAARMANN had been a member of the raid |
on this residence, along with 40 other law enforcement officers.
DALY further advised S. hat_within the, next four to five
days it is his intention to go into uUspe at Charlotte and obtain
a temporary restraint ageing law,enforcement officers from 33
