On February 22, 1969, WME aavises that on February 21,
. 1969, memorial ceremonies for MALCOLM X were held at the Windsor
+ Community Center, Greensboro, North Carolina, attended by students
; of A and T State University, University of North Carolina at
7 Greensboro, and Bennett College, plus some high school students.
CFCIL ROUSON, a former body gvard of MALCOLM X, gave a speech
stating the reason MALCOLM X was assassinated was because he was
making too much progress in getting the black men together.
HAROLD AVANT also gpoke and said that the police officers observing
the ceremony were a bunch of pigs. AVANT urged all Negroes to
& get a "piece", meaning a gun, and to use it when necessary.

members included ERIC BROWN, HAROLD AVANT, ROBERT HEARNES, CECIL
