The far reaching investigation to determine the source of the components of the bombs is being pressed. ’ Continuing pressure is being exerted on the prime suspects involved inthe bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in which four Negro girls were killed, Some excellent informants have been developed among close associates of the suspects and efforts are being made to develop more. Every legitimate opportunity is being taken to maintain the pressure on these suspects in an.effort to induce them to make admissions of guilt which can be the subject matter of testimony by these informants, :There have been no bombing incidents in Birmingham Lt since 4/1/65. _— 5) OCT 201965
