INATIONAL MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT ACT.
CLYDE BARROW, et al.
. OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY.
SYNOPSIS or FACTS:
ra Peace officers in southern Minnesota, western
Wisconsin, and the State Bureau of Criminal
Apprehension of Minnesota notified thet BARROW
was headed toward the state on July 24, 1935,
reported seen near Blue rth, Minnesota, on the
game date but nothing further learned of his
whereabouts.

DETALLS:
At St. Peul, Minnesots
Investigation in captioned case was predicated on 4 telephone call
from Special Agent 0. C. Dewey of the Kensas City Bureau office from Dellas Center,
Iowa, at 2:20 p.m, July 24, 1933. In substance he advised that BARROW, with
possibly three other men, one of whom might be BOB BRADY, had a shooting serap with
officers in that vicinity and were last seen about noon at Luverne, Iowa, headed
toward Minnesota driving e 1930 model dark colored Chevrolet Coach bearing lowe
license Now 77-13662. He stated BARROW was wented for the robbery of an armory at
Enid. Oklahoma, and thet he was vented for violation of the National Motor Vehicle
--e-- Theft Act. Immediately following receipt of this telephone communication,
the Sheriffs of Mason City, Iow; Austin, Minnesota; Albert Lea, Minnesota; Rochester,
Minnesota; and La Crosse, Wisconsin, were contacted by phone and given all available
data and in addition thereto, requested to immediately communicate the informstion
to the police departments in their vicinity and to render all possible assistance
with e view of apprehending BARROW.
