Mr. Oberdorfer was calling on behalf of the Attorney General and desires that Agents meet the President's pet representatives, Kenneth C->Rayall and Earl H“Blaik, upon their “77> arrival tomorrow morning 9-24-63, at Birmingham, SAC Faisst —-— indicated that Mr, Oberdorfer wanted the Agents to chat with them. SAC Faisst was instructed that no information whatsoever concerning the bombing investigation should be discussed with either Royall or Blaik, They will, however, be met at the airport as a courtesy, SAC Faisst indicated that when Deputy Attorney General Katzenbach was in Birmingham, Katzenbach and Departmental Attorney Joe Dolan made arrangements with the building manager in the 2121] Building which rents considerable space to the Government and in which building this Bureau maintains its Birmingham Office so that Katzenbach and Dolan had access to a two-bedroom apartment in the penthouse of that building, ° ! N S Mr, Oberdorfer in his telephone call to SAC Faisst wanted — the building superintendent contacted so arrangements could be made for Royall and Blaik in this apartment.
