I assured him that the Bureau considered this a most heinous offense and that we had entered the investigation with no holds barred. Mr. Katzenbach indicated that he had talked to Negro leaders at Birmingham including Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., and his brother Reverend A, D. W.
