An additional ten men and stenographic assistance and cars were sent in by Mr. Mohr's office. Katzenbach called me shortly before 8:00 p.m., 9/15/63, indicating that he was sure he need not call but wanted to express his interest in this case, He told me that he had called a number of Negro out : leaders in Birmingham and had urged that they see to it that anyone with : information should come forward with it and give it to the FBI, He said he spoke to the Reverend Martin Luther King and his brother, the Reverend A, D, W. King, and other leaders, He was assured that we were going all out in this investigation; that no holds would be barred; that all our facilities were available and would be used in the event needed, Katzenbach was most pleased with the action which we have taken and wanted to express it. esl aan | Upon SAC Moore's arrival at Little Rock, I pointed out to him instructions previously issued to the office that there was to be no blow-by- .t 4 blow reporting to the Department as to what we were doing.
