He stated that in his opinion the dynamite was detonated by a fuse type detonator. He added that this type detonator would make it very easy for an individual to walk by the 16th street Baptist Church, drop any type package containing the dynamite and depart the area. $2 WS os: out the path of damage as it appeared on the blocks remaining in the basement of the church and advised that this path indicated that the blast occurred outside of the church sid forced debris into the women's lounge of the church. He estimated the damage to the church to be somewhere in the area of $20,000 to $30,000.
