- BOMBING MATTERS
Over the week end spot check surveillances and
interviews of the principal suspects in the bombing of
the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church and other bombings
in Birmingham were conducted with no significant
information being developed,

It should be noted that after the premature arrests
of three suspects by the Alabama Highway Patrol in*“September,
1963, the principal suspects in this case have become very -
wary about their activities and statements and are hostile as
