Automobile Clutch Hub Assembly
On September 25, 1963, during the crime scene
search following the explosion of two bombs at a junction
of Center Street, 16th Street and 7th Avenue South, the
largest metal fragments recovered were two fragments that
appeared to be portions of a clutch plate. They were
tentatively identified by local automobile parts dealers
as parts of a clutch hub assembly from an old Hudson.
These parts were sent to Detroit and thence to Milwaukee
where they were identified as parts of a clutch hub
assembly of a 1940, 1943, or 1942 Hudson, Details are
