BOMBING MATTERS
In connection with our investigation of the bombing
of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birminghan, a
source that we have developed who is familiar with Klan
activity has advised that feeling is strong against the
appointment of Mr, Elijah Hill, a Negro, to the Position
of Deputy United States Marshal. Our source has indicated
that he fears violence may occur since Mr, Hill's name and
address were published in local newspapers in Birmingham,

United States Marshal Dan Moore of the above information.
