were among hundreds attend-|
ing Sunday School when the
blast ripped through the struc-
ture.
{ In its statement, the FBI
said, “this investigation was
prejudiced by premature ar-
rests made by the Alabama
Highway Patrol. Consequent-
ly it has not yet been possible
to obtain evidence or confes-
sions to assure successful
prosecution.”

York; Michael Schwerner, 24,
