As a part of the over-all general editorial article, there was included, according to Mr. Ingram, a reference to the fact that the newspaper, ''The Advertisey," had chanced to learn of two telephone bugs recently found in Alabama, It related that telephone experts had found one of them clamped to a telephone wire in the basement of a residence, It pointed out that the installation undoubtedly was made by entering the residence by means of a key and that the bug was capable of transmitting conversations to a receiver, The manufacturer of the device was unknown, A photograph captioned- "Type of Wire Tap Device Discovered in Birmingham Basement" was included with the article, This photograph was said by the SAC to be our device.
