As a result, JERRY DUTTON was arrested by the Birmingham facies for furnishing false information to the Police Department. At a subsequent trial in Recorder's Court, DUTTON was found guilty and fined. His attorney, MATT MURPHY, appealed the.case to the Jefferson County Circuit Court.
