SUMMARY It is noted that during the time of the initial investigation into this bombing, information was developed ' alleging that certain Negro prisoners were taken from the Jefferson County Jail surreptiously to carry out certain actions for various wardens at the jail. It is noted that this information was thoroughly investigated in 1963 and 1964, and it was never substantiated.
