He had been going over this case with SAC Moore and the Agents assigned to the case until midnight last night, pinpointing what each Agent is doing and the potential in the case. He is continuing today and will have another conference of all Agents on the case tonight. He said the Agents are covering 80 to 100 leads a day, in } [addition to an analytical conference each night. Agents are f averaging about 7 hours overtime a day on this special. Each _# Agent has an assignment to cover immediately in the event there | is additional violence or bombings. ii He said it is clear that the work is well organized and that much is being done in the way of checking out and applying pressure points to get cooperation from suspects and their associates, In other words, this is a hard-hitting investigation with no holds barred. He said he was impressed with the enthusiasm of all of the Agents assigned to the case. Mr. Rosen is continuing his examination, looking toward further methods of applying pressure to get results. SAC Moore has been considering the possibility of a Federal Grand Jury in the future if it appears that this will be helpful. Mr. Rosen is checking into the personnel situation and whether ihsis ia the best interests of the Bureau to release personnel now or in the near future.
