That should not be at all surprising ‘considering that the investigation may touch influential ‘people. Have you heard from the average American who believes that anyone running for public office has a moral obligation? Those who cry "entrapment" are denying what I ‘consider a basic attribute of a public official. Public ‘office will always bring opportunities for bribes and ‘special favors. Can we not longer expect that one of the 'qualifications for office should be the ability to resist ‘such temptation? If we've gone beyond that assumption, ‘then I believe there is no hope for representative ‘government.
