March 17, 1981 Regarding the editor's editorial on the FBX which appeared in February 1981 fuse, I, as an American citizen, take exception to the editor'a remarks concerning ABSCAM. Mr. Webster, Director of the FBI, gets my vote of confidence and as far as I'm concerned any elected official who accepts money under any pre- tense other than his paycheck and legitimate expenses ig guilty of the worst kind of crime. Betrayal of the public trust, Mr. Editor, is what most citizens are upset about. Go out on the atreet and ask the average citizen what he objects to and you will discover that he or she is totally againat untrustworthy political people of all levels, and at least Mr. Webster is trying to do something about the problem that we all suspected but no one but Mr. Webster had the guts to do something about.
