The "Newark Evening News" dated July 17, 1956,
carried an article to the effect that the Department of
Justice in Washington had advised the United States Attorney's
Cffice in Newark to drop further efforts to have JCSEPy STACI’
testify about the income of LONGIE ZWILLMAN. The order f the
Departnent in Washington came at a time when the then ict:
United States Attorney HERMAN SCOTT was appealing the ruling
of Judge MODARELLI, mentioned above. There is no information
