Pursuant to bres b: on Saturday evening, 4 4 personal friend of mine e Civilian Production Administration. or erly that certain individuals including Siegel had been attempting to obtain clearance to build this hotel near Las Vegas which tt was my understanding was to be utilized-as a gambling casino. JI stated that a hearing had bee held in San Franetsco on August 13 relative to the freeze order which had been issued by the CPA and another hearing was coming up on September 5, at which it wo ined whether further construc would be permitted.
