to build this hotel near Las Vegas which tt was my understanding was
to be utilized-as a gambling casino. JI stated that a hearing had bee
held in San Franetsco on August 13 relative to the freeze order which
had been issued by the CPA and another hearing was coming up on
September 5, at which it wo ined whether further construc
would be permitted. JI told that he might want to persona
check into this matter since was potentially dangerous from the
standpotnt of public criticism and critigs rane organtza-
tions should such construction continue. was very ap=
prectative of my calling this to his attention, stating that he waan
familiar with tt and that certainly if possible he would want to stop
construction of this type.
