He said that he understood thet the FBI had some interest in thie matter.
When he was asked to produce the file in order that we might review it, he
said that he could not produce the file because the case was still pending,
that there would probably be another hearing on this matter before the cammissioner
on September 5, 1946, and, therefore, he did not think that the FAI shquld look
at the file. We asked him what further action the CPA planned to teke, and he
atated that he did not know. He seid that he is going to have a faren
with the legal staff of the CPA on August 19, 1946, and req pted tig
back on August 20, 1948, when he would be in a better positio < carte
