The FBI does have any publications available
for distribution concerning apone; however, you may wish
to refer to "The FBI Story,” a book written by Mr. Don Whitehead,
which contains some data relative to him. You will probably be
able to obtain a copy of it at your local library. _
- For your information, Capone was sentenced on
* October 34, 1931, for violation of the Federal income tax laws
which do not come within the investigative jurisdiction of the FBI.
He was released from the Federal Correctional
Terminal Island, California, on January 19, 1939, and died on
January 25, 1947, at Palm Island, Miami, Florida.
