The FBI does rt have any publications available for distribution concerning Al Capone; however, 7o% you may wish. to refer to "The FBI Story, ~ a book written by Don Whitehead, which contains some data relative to him. You may be able to obtain a copy of it at your local Mbrary. For your information, Capone was sentencedon TS October 4, 1931, for violation of the Federal income taxlaws +45 which do not come within the investigative jurisdiction of the FB1. He was released from the Federal Correctional Institution, Terminal Island, California, on January 19, 1039, and died on Jauuary 3S, 1647, at Palm Island, Miami, Florida.
