of Investigation, please be advised that a ‘transcript of the
record reveals the Toliowing data:
Charles vi. Clarke testified that he is a Special
Agent of the Intcllirence Unit, U.S. Tressury Derertnent,and
trst on F ary 27, 1953, he acco:.naniei Leputy . Larshel
Cooper then the latter served upou subject Cevone a Grand
Jury subpoena, callin; for Capone's appearance at Chicago,
TLlinois, on Larck. lz, 1931.
Reymond Ff. Brom testified thet be is a Special
Attorney in the Bureau of Internal Revenus eat Liem, Flerida,
and that on Fel ry 27, 1929, be saw subject Alphonse Capone
ee is Cuciaey-Gesibling prize fight at Liami Beach, Florida.
The above corfir=s the original statemnt of
Speciol assistant to the attorney Generel .illiam Froelich,
who stated as set forth in my letter of Octoder 6, 1931,
that the testimony of the above two witnesseq was rather im
material, and at best only cumlative.
