The fallaciousness and utter absurdity of his arguments were, of course, pointed out to him immediately. The Senator had no factual basis upon which to substantiate his charges, At the close of the interview, Senator Gore claimed friendship with SAC Alden of Baltimore, specifically stating he had’attended law school with Alden at Vanderbilt University, which is located in Nashville, Tennessee, While discussing other matters with Alden, the above incident was mentioned to him.
